Leprosy ( jazam -korhi in Urdu) is a chronic inflammation that affects the nerves ,the skin , and the bones adjacent to the skin .It is not so contagious as commonly believed. The inflammation of the nerves leads to acute loss of sensation, paralysis and deformity.
